Great people to work with.
Ok auction, you really get to check out the cars well in advance. The problem is two fold, one the auctioneer is the worst one I've ever heard so I;m lost pretty much 90% of the time. Second with friends letting friends letting friends use the dealer license the prices vary wildly. I've seen carss with a certain ethnic look go easily $1000-$1500 over what it's worth. Then you'll see a car you were only mildly interested in go for a steal of $1000+ under what it's worth and you go damn I should have bought it.
Have known and dealt with Central for years now. Great people and honest as the day is long. Previous reviewer has a long string of 1 star reviews against Manheim also... go figure ;)
I've been doing this for 35 years, bought thousands of vehicles and this is the only auction that I can say that I will never buy a car from again. I got a Honda online from these guys through ADESA's site. Central produced a condition report that stated rust on the under side but "no rot" and the 'no rot" was underlined! Get the car and the rear disc brake rock shields have completely rotted off the car. They are gone. The front ones are half rotted off the car. The rear bumper has rust holes all along the bottom. The stabilizer links have rotted away. The general manager himself told me he would do nothing. Be aware that, if you buy a car on ADESA dealer block or OVE, and the auction facility pick up location is not owned by either of those companies, you are on your own. The ones who conducted the auction [ ove or ADESA] will not help you at all.
To all ove buyers plz AVOIDDDDDD this auction at all cost trust me you don't want to go thru what I did. So I bought a Nissan GT-R for 50k ordered psi first of all I took them like 3 days to get it done. Then they called and said it passed. Recived the car bartary was died so put a new battery and drove it home scan it for Inspuction and sure it was tranny codes called the auction and they are rude and will do anything to even help. Plz save yourself a heache and buy from a Manheim location so you have the right to Arb if there's a prob that's a private auction has nothing to do with Manheim rules I'll never buy from them agine
Overall, good cars, confusing, hectic, prices vary wildly.
