Horrible experience. Absolutely the worst Wal-Mart I've ever been to. Rude customer service. We had to wait in line for almost half hour just to cash a payroll check. The lady rolled her eyes at almost every customer. The supervisor looked like she was drugged up. Very small selections, definitely never going back.
The service at this store is absolutely abysmal, I can't stand coming here. God forbid you need assistance with anything.
Small location, convenient but not fully stocked, didn’t have half of the items I was looking for, not cause they weren’t stocked but because they didn’t carry the items, I didn’t want to deal with the chaos at the next closest Walmart in Wallingford but I still ended up having to make another stop to get the items needed.
The shelves are always empty and a lot of ghetto employees work there, Hamden deserves better.
Today around 9 am I went to this Walmart to exchange my 4month old vacuum cleaner thinking it would be a quick process... Sadly, the front-end supervisor refused to exchange because they have a 90days return policy that is not printed on the receipt. This lady tried everything possible so I couldn't speak to a manager but finally, I was able to speak with an Asst store manager who looked at the receipt and said: "if the vacuum cleaner doesn't look all destroyed, I can exchange it". (Thank you, Scott!)
I normally only do positive google review but this lady made me feel terrible! (Granted she did it all with a smirk) For that, I have to give this 1star review!
