What's great is that you can take a tough trail up and then a leisurely stroll down!

Such a wonderful, beautiful hike! It's a great place to bring your kids (human or dog) for a nature walk. There are many trails, but the tower trail is the easiest and most popular. There's also a neat castle at the top that offers gorgeous view of the surrounding area!

Amazing! If you're an outdoorsy type person and love to hike, then this is the place for you! You can take a 3 mile hike up to the wonderful tower or enjoy a nice, slow, and steady walk just enjoying nature! Very convenient because it's only 11 minutes from Yale University! Amazing view at the tower and very quiet and peaceful! Also, the trail is a nice wide gravel path so you can run on it if you prefer. I would not suggest bringing small children here because there are no side rails to hold on to as you're walking up to the tower. Great for pets and older kids and teens! Would absolutely 100% recommend!

Great park for hiking, trails for everyone. If you are an avid hiker I would not recommend the Tower trail, it gets very very crowded. I did the blue trail, it’s hard, a lot of rock climbing required; sometimes on all fours:) but the views are amazing, I did half of the blue and returned back using red and white trails, it’s about 5 miles

There are a variety of trails here for all skill levels. For the advanced hiker, take the blue/white trail, while someone who just wants to take a walk with the family can walk the gravel path to the tower.

Enjoyable! About 30 miles of trails to hike. It's always fun to hike through the "inner valley" and up the back (east) side of the castle.
